For example, water is a liquid because it has a large amount of space inside it. However, if we were to take a bucket of water and pour it into a smaller container, the water would become solid. Water has a high density because there is much space inside it. If we poured the same amount of water into a larger container, the water would be less dense.
Applications of Solids
Solids are used in many different ways. They can be made into bricks, blocks, and other building materials. They can also be used as containers, such as jars and bottles. They can even be used as food products like ice cream and candy bars.
